Faber-Castell Colour Pencil Set, 36 Long — Full length, for coloured pencil, 36 colours.
Coloured pencil is the most forgiving colour medium there is — nothing to mix, nothing to dry, and nothing that cannot be built up slowly rather than committed to in one pass.
Press lightly and the paper's texture stays visible through the colour; press hard and burnish and you get solid, waxy coverage. Most work sits somewhere between the two, layering light passes until the depth is right.
- Layer light passes to build depth, or burnish hard for solid colour
- Works on most drawing papers — a little tooth holds more pigment
- No drying time, no mixing, and fully portable
